Offering Cuddles and Playtime with Pet Boarding and Daycare

Whether you’ll be out of the house for a day or a week, Carriage Animal Hospital in Lombard is happy to care for your pet in your absence. We work to keep our boarding and daycare guests happy by providing comfortable amenities, extra love and cuddles, and a sanitary environment. We understand the challenges of leaving your pet in someone else’s care, even for a short time. Know that our attending staff members will treat your pet like one of their own and do everything possible to help them relax and enjoy their visit.

What Our Boarding Offers

Comfort, cleanliness and compassion are key aspects of our boarding services. Our goal is to make the environment as low-stress as possible and to have additional medical care available for any pet that needs it.

Our amenities include:

  • Spacious kennels and dog runs
  • Clean, soft bedding for all guests
  • Separate boarding areas for dogs and cats
  • Open play sessions for dogs to socialize and have fun
  • Dogs are walked several times a day for bathroom breaks and exercise
  • Cats receive individualized attention from staff members
  • Kennels and runs are cleaned and refreshed daily, and fresh water is always available

We do not recommend bringing bedding, blankets or toys from home. You do need to bring your pet’s food if they are on a special diet, though we can provide food if necessary. Both food and medication should be in durable containers labeled with your pet’s name and directions. If you have instructions or requests, please let us know at drop-off.

Our Dog Daycare Program

Dogs are social animals and will almost always jump at the opportunity to spend time with other dogs and/or people. Socialization is very important because it helps to build confidence and teach dogs how to essentially “play well with others.” Unsocialized dogs can be nervous and fearful at times. Our dog daycare program in Lombard allows guests to enjoy plenty of playtime, exercise, and socialization under the supervision of an experienced staff member. Before your pet joins, we can evaluate their behavior and gradually introduce them to a more social setting.

Activities your pet can enjoy include ball playing, running and an obstacle course. We also offer rest periods and can provide meals for pets per owner request.
